On our way home from Texas, we spent a day in Old Town which included taking in the museum. It was a beautiful museum, well worth the visit.
A highlight of our wandering, was finding a gallery that R. C. Gorman had used as a studio. We found a print of his in the style that we like, to add to our small collection.
I've forgotten the name of those flowers, but my grandma used to have them growing by her house. She would let us kids make dolls with them by taking an open blossom, turned upside down for the skirt, then attach with a toothpick an unopened blossom for the head, and then float the whole thing on a dish of water. -Linda
A grandmother who loves the Lord, her family and friends. One whose great joy in life is singing in her church's 60 voice choir (average age is 75). One who loves flowers, and loves to help them grow. One who works hard at making lumps of clay into something beautiful and useful.
