Time Out In Tuscon

Wendell and I spent the last weekend (Thursday thru Saturday) in the Tuscon area in a group of 14 from our church, traveling on a huge bus. We visited the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, the Pima Air Museum, the Kartchner Caverns, and the Old Tucson Studios. Kartchner Caverns were beautiful, but we were not allowed to carry cameras, purses or anything into the caverns. They are working very hard to keep them pristine.
We checked out some John Wayne movies from the library that were partially made at the Old Tucson Studios. We could tell when they were in Arizona because of the Saguaro cactus. Posted by Picasa

Another Weekend Out

This time we drove a few miles to the West Valley Art Museum for "An Affair With the Arts". We love this art fair because it is so close to home.

A Weekend Out

We are selling pottery in the city of Litchfield Park. This is the largest art and craft festival on the west side of Phoenix and it is really quite close to home. We have a very pleasant space and we did very well today. Our space is on the library lawn, which makes Wendell very happy. Posted by Picasa

Our Shady Area

I have a long counter to the right, where I do my potting and often work on ceramics. This area turned out to be a nice breezeway, so I can work out here even in out hot summers. Posted by Picasa
