Grandpa Working Hard

Grandpa filled between the cemented area where my kilns sit and the concrete block wall with patio pavers. Now he is working on the gate, which will give me privacy from the street. What a nice work area this will become! Posted by Picasa

Grandma's Personal Coffee Cup

I thought that your choice of a handle was exciting, David. There are not very many people in this world that have a cup handle like the one you have chosen. Posted by Picasa

Cappuccino Cups

I am working on them, David.
Now I have to make enough more things to fill my kiln. I also need to glaze a bunch of things to make room for my next bisque load, which will include your cups. Posted by Picasa

Painted Dessert/Petrified Forrest

On our way home from Texas, we also took time to revisit the National Petrified Forrest. The old hotel is still in the process of being restored. The outside of the building is all finished
and it looks beautiful. Posted by Picasa

Albuquerque, New Mexico

On our way home from Texas, we spent a day in Old Town which included taking in the museum. It was a beautiful museum, well worth the visit.

A highlight of our wandering, was finding a gallery that R. C. Gorman had used as a studio. We found a print of his in the style that we like, to add to our small collection. Posted by Picasa

Organ Pipe Cactus

Yesterday we noticed that our next
door neighbors cactus was ready to bloom. So, early this morning we checked it out. It had 47 flowers in full bloom. They only last a day, so we felt very fortunate to have seen it. Posted by Picasa
